When it comes to this wedding, this couple, and the incredible day that was their wedding I don’t even know where to begin because it was truly that perfect. As soon as Elana had reached out to me to ask for my guidance in helping her to achieve her dream wedding I knew there was nothing more I’d rather do than be by her side through the planning and design process. Nick and Elana both have incredible taste and wanted to create a elegant black and white wedding and knew that most importantly, they didn’t want to worry about the logistics so they could instead focus on each other and enjoying the time with their family. From wedding planning meetings in Columbus, Facetime dates from Toledo, trips to the florist in Canfield, and visits at the venue in Canton - we invested a lot of time planning their day AND had so much fun along the way.
I could post every single photo from their day because they all bring a smile to my face. Elana is glowing in every photo (isn’t she?!) and I’m so happy that after many years together as a couple, that her and Nick will look back on this day in their lives with so much joy.
And to N+E. . from the bottom of my heart, thank you for allowing me to be a part of it. Working with you, my dream clients, was a highlight of my career and reminded me how much I love having the opportunity to support couples and their families during this important chapter in their lives. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and am looking forward to the next happy hour we’ll get to share together!
It’s up for debate if the tradition began in Pittsburgh or the Akron/Canton area but one thing you’re sure to see at a wedding in either of those regions - the cookie table! Women and family members find joy in baking up their favorite cookies to bring for a huge display at the wedding and it’s a detail that guests always look forward to. With this being said this was one of the elements we had fun designing as we knew we wanted to make it a bit more unique than just assorted platters on a table. Through a collection of cake stands from my inventory, two small book shelves + a custom wooden display, and individual boxes at each place setting- we created the following display that guests were raving about all night! We loved seeing them fill up their to-go boxes so they could enjoy a treat even after the wedding was over.
Teamwork makes the dream work! Thanks to this great group of professionals who helped support Elana & Nick in achieving the wedding of their dreams.
